Terms of Use

The rules for using RaiseOS, written to be read: what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how billing, liability and termination work.

Last updated 30 August 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use are a contract between you and 88 Labs ("RaiseOS"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company, and "you" means the company.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for all activity under your credentials.
  • Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One person per seat. Seats may not be shared across individuals.

3. Private beta

RaiseOS is in private beta. Features may change, be limited or be withdrawn, and availability is provided on a commercially reasonable basis rather than under a service-level guarantee. We will give notice before removing a feature you rely on where practical.

4. Plans, billing and refunds

  • Free tier: available at no cost, with usage limits, and it does not expire.
  • Pro: USD 500 per year, billed annually in advance and renewing automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Taxes: prices exclude any applicable taxes, which are added where required.
  • Cancellation: you can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid term.
  • Refunds: if the product does not earn its keep during your raise, email us within the term and we will refund the current year.
  • Non-payment: we may suspend paid features after notice if an invoice remains unpaid.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Send unlawful, deceptive, harassing or bulk unsolicited messages, or breach anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM, CASL or the GDPR's rules on electronic marketing.
  • Scrape, resell, sublicense or redistribute the investor database or any part of the service.
  • Upload malware, or content you have no right to share.
  • Probe, load-test, reverse engineer or circumvent security controls or usage limits.
  • Use the service to build a competing dataset or product.
  • Misrepresent who you are when contacting investors through the product.

You are responsible for the outreach you approve and send, including its accuracy and compliance with applicable marketing and privacy law.

6. Your content

You keep all rights in the data, documents and text you put into RaiseOS. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate and support the service, and to create aggregated, de-identified statistics that do not identify you or your company. You confirm you have the rights and any consents needed for the personal data you upload.

7. Our intellectual property

RaiseOS, its software, models, prompts, database compilation, brand and documentation remain ours. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service during your subscription. No other rights are granted by implication.

8. Third-party services

Connecting Gmail, Outlook, LinkedIn, Google Drive, Calendly, Claude, ChatGPT or any other service is governed by that provider's own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or actions, and we access only the scopes you grant.

9. AI output and no professional advice

AI features generate suggestions, drafts, scores and summaries that can be incomplete or wrong. Nothing in RaiseOS is legal, tax, accounting, securities or investment advice, and no match, score or captable figure is a guarantee of any outcome. Review output before you rely on it, and confirm anything material with your advisers. Fundraising results depend on factors outside our control, and we do not promise you will raise capital.

10. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's non-public information with at least reasonable care and use it only to perform under these terms. This does not apply to information that is public, independently developed, or must be disclosed by law.

11. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that operation will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case they apply to the extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or lost funding opportunities. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including fraud, wilful misconduct or death and personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your outreach, or your use of the service in breach of these terms or applicable law.

14. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, unlawful use, or non-payment, with notice where practical and immediately where the risk requires it. On termination you can export your data for 30 days, after which we delete it in line with the Privacy Policy.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rajkot, Gujarat, India. We will try in good faith to resolve any dispute informally first, so please email us before filing a claim. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence are unaffected.

16. Changes and general terms

We may update these terms; material changes are emailed to account holders and take effect on the date shown at the top of this page. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. These terms, plus the Privacy Policy and any order form, are the entire agreement between us.
